Ollie was up in seat one and the host was thrilled at the 50-year-old's response when he asked what he did for a living.
The quizzer said he worked as a "beer salesman", which led a delighted Bradley to question whether he brought any beers with him.
Ollie confirmed he had some in the car - and the host said he could get a "free pass" to the Final Chase.
He joked: "What a gig that is. You're through to the final."
The beer salesman proceeded to put in an impressive performance as he banked a whopping £5,000 in the cash-builder.
He put in a confident showing in the head-to-head to navigate his way past The Vixen and book his place in the last round.
Jenny was in imperious form and caught two players meaning Ollie was only joined by Kelly in the Final Chase.
The team were competing for a combined £9,000 - and built up 14 steps in their bid to take home the cash prize.
However, Jenny answered every question correctly and caught the team with 47 seconds remaining - so they left empty-handed.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITV Hub
