On the website, the closing date for applications is June 3 2022, and the show is looking for " all kinds of talented singers, from undiscovered acts to established professionals, to transform into a huge music icon and perform on a massive stage."

On last weeks episode, host Olly Murs got a surprise with one group heading out on stage as himself.

Speaking before filming the show, Olly was asked how he'd feel if contestants chose to perform as him.

He shared: "I would be utterly flattered by it. If it happens I would be honoured that there were three people that wanted to be me.

"And if there were I’d be saying ‘Don’t do it too good, fellas. Be good but don’t be too good! You’re coming after my job.’"

On the episode, Olly had said: "I must say that was a bloody good show tonight but I think the judges picked the wrong team clearly", referencing the fact that his Olly stars were not picked.

Starstruck continues on ITV this weekend, airing at 8:30pm.
