ITV's This Morning to air at later time as Lorraine and Loose Women cancelled

This Morning will be aired at a later time on Monday, September 12 as the nation continues to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II. In the wake of the monarch's passing, broadcasters have adjusted or removed shows from the schedule to air special coverage.

On Friday, September 9, ITV bosses decided to remove This Morning, Lorraine and Loose Women from the schedules. The only regular breakfast show to air was a special episode of Good Morning Britain, with Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard paying tribute to the Queen. You can read more on this here.

Now ITV has revealed the schedule for Monday, and while This Morning will return with a poignant episode, it will air at a later time. Lorraine and Loose Women will remain off air.

The broadcaster said: "ITV’s main channel will continue to make changes to its schedule to broadcast the important state events of the coming days culminating in the historic state funeral with extensive and dedicated news coverage from our news teams. ITV will also be showing a number of documentaries about the Queen and the new King over the coming days. No advertising will run during any of the Royal coverage or commentary."
