ITV's Ranvir Singh steps in as Lorraine guest left in tears at end of show

Ranvir Singh rushed into comfort a guest on Friday's Lorraine, as the man was left in tears on the ITV show.

As she often does, former Good Morning Britain anchor Ranvir replaced Lorraine Kelly for the breakfast programme's final episode of the week, being joined by guests like Alexandra Burke and Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and Jonathan was heavily involved in a pecial Father's Day makeover staged by Ranvir and her colleagues.

Stylist and hairdresser Jonathan joined forces with Lorraine's resident fashion expert Mark Hayes to transform dad of five Carlos, who is facing a difficult Father's Day, with it being the first since his 19-year-old daughter Danni sadly passed away. Ranvir introduced Carlos to viewers at home early on in Friday's show and then, right before credits rolled, Jonathan and Mark joined her to reveal the results of his makeover.

Looking very suave, Carlos appeared delighted at how the pair had styled him, before things took an emotional turn, when Ranvir revealed to Carlos that she wanted to share some messages of support from his five children. All of them appeared on screen, saying how muchc they were proud of him and how strong he'd been during an incredibly tough time.

Seeing them on screen, Carlos looked incredibly moved, with tears starting to come as he thanked Ranvir and the team for the 'amazing experience.' Mark then presented him with an envelope with some surprise gifts in. And then, sensing how emotional Carlos was, Ranvir walked across the set and told him: "I'm going to come over and give you a little hug; you're an amazing man."
