ITV will deliver the 'biggest outside broadcast' in its history for The Queen's funeral next week, with live coverage airing simultaneously on its main station and all digital channels.
It's now been four days since Her Majesty died peacefully aged 96 at her Scottish residence Balmoral. Since Queen Elizabeth II's passing, television schedules have been significantly altered to dedicate airtime to coverage of the events that followed including, King Charles III's first address to the nation as new monarch , his formal proclamation and The Queen's coffin's journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh on Sunday.
Whilst ITV was criticised for being 'slow to react' to news of the Queen's ailing health on Thursday, still showing shows like Loose Women and Tipping Point after it had been confirmed she was under medical supervision, it has aired extensive coverage since her death, including special episodes of Good Morning Britain on Saturday and Sunday, in a big break from tradition.

The Queen's funeral will take place on Monday, September 19 and Good Morning Britain will begin ITV's coverage of the sad and momentous day, before coverage of the run up to Her Majesty's funeral and the service itself, which is set to start at 11am.
Moving into the evening, ITV will broadcast a documentary film chronicling the events of the past ten days from Her Majesty The Queen’s death to the state funeral. There will be a special programme focussing on the day’s events at 9pm, followed by an extended News at Ten.
All of the day’s programming from 6am to midnight will be simulcast on all of ITV’s main channel and five digital channels and hub - the first time in its history ITV has done so.
Precise timings for ITV's coverage and who will host the coverage are set to be announced in due course.
