ITV's Protection starring Happy Valley's Siobhan Finneran to air this weekend

ITV will air a new drama this weekend starring Happy Valley’s Siobhan Finneran as DI Liz Nyles.

In a summary of the series, the Radio Times says: “Police officer DI Liz Nyles works in the secretive and high-stakes world of Witness Protection.

“One morning, a devastating incident at work raises grave questions about the integrity of Liz's unit, which is rocked with accusations of corruption.”

On Instagram, ITV shared a first look at the new series, allowing viewers to see a glimpse of what they can expect.

Taking to the comments, some shared their excitement for the new series.
