Lorraine Kelly had a far from ideal night before her early alarm on Monday, revealing she'd been left 'unable to sleep' after watching the latest episode of Happy Valley.
Like many Brits, ITV presenter Lorraine settled down to watch the hit Sarah Lancashire drama at 9pm, as its third and final series continued with a fourth action packed episode, which *SPOILER ALERT* took a turn when Tommy Lee Royce, the arch nemesis of Sarah's character Catherine Cawood, successfully made a break for freedom from the dock.
His son and Catherine's grandson, Ryan, was in the gallery to see Tommy punch a security guard before clambering up and over the dock and bolting out of the court building, as other staff were distracted by a fight that had kicked off in the corridor.

The closing moments of the hour long episode saw villain Tommy cycle off into streets of Leeds, as he evaded capture; setting up an inevitable showdown with Catherine as Happy Valley nears its final conclusion.
Jaws dropped across the country as viewers were left on the edges of their seats by Tommy's escape and, as she hosted her ITV show less than 12 hours after credits rolled, Lorraine admitted she'd had trouble getting to sleep after watching it.
As she was joined by Good Morning Britain star Susanna Reid and TV medic Dr Hilary Jones for a Sleep Clinic, a clip of Happy Valley played on screen and Lorraine said: "No spoilers right for Happy Valley, but that was the chilling moment Tommy Lee Royce got ready for his court appearance; we knew that was going to happen."
She then added: "I will say though, I couldn't get to sleep for thinking about it. It was such a brilliant hour of episode."
As Dr Hilary discussed what things people should avoid before bedtime - being on their phones, watching too much TV, Lorraine joked: "Don't watch Happy Valley!"
