Lorraine Kelly has sparked some concern amongst viewers, after she was missing from her show from the second day in succession, having been sent home by bosses on Wednesday.
Lorraine, a permanent fixture of the ITV daytime schedule for years now, is best known for fronting her own show from 9-10am, with legions of fans tuning into watch her mull over the big new stories of the day and interview cele guests every day. However, after being so excited to chat to Queen star and Starstruck judge Adam Lambert on Wednsday morning, things took a nasty turn for Loraine when she was suddenly struck down with illness, forcing her ITV colleague Ranvir Singh to step in at the last minute.
Ranvir addressed Lorraine's absence in the opening moments of the show as Lorraine also spoke out online, telling worried followers: "When you have to be sent home from work early in the morning because you are suddenly attacked by a hideous bug and were looking forward to interviewing @adamlambert THAT! Beyond disappointed but imagine if I had infected him !!!!!!"

Among the many people to pass on their well wishes to Lorraine was regular guest Dr Amir Khan who told her: "Hope you feel better soon my love."
Further concern was expressed for the famous presenter when she failed to appear on screen on Thursday, but this time with no explanation on Twitter.
Instead it was down to stand-in host Ranvir to update viewers right at the start of the live broadcast, with her commenting: "Lorraine is still recovering at home, so I'm back here to talk you through the next hour."
Ranvir's update was brief to say the least with her moving straight on to the day's big news story - Shamima Begum having her id to regain her UK citizenship rejected.
