Screens turned black for viewers of Lorraine today as the ITV show suffered an awkward technical blunder.
Host Lorraine Kelly had been in the middle of interviewing Delia Smith when the programme went off air briefly.
Viewers were faced with a black screen for 10 or so seconds before the show went back on air.
The presenter later addressed the issue, explaining: "Now, I should tell you that we were talking to Delia - now wasn't that a brilliant conversation - you lost us. I think you all lost us for about 10 seconds or so and it went black.
"Slight technical problem, all sorted out now, so should be fine."
It comes a day after Lorraine failed to mince her words as she reacted to Matt Hancock's strange podcast interview, branding him a "pound shop Milk Tray Man".
The disgraced former Health Secretary was forced to resign last year after leaked CCTV showed him in a clinch with adviser Gina Coladangelo in his Whitehall office.
As the footage had been taken on May 6 2021, when indoor social gatherings of people from different households were banned under law and guidance urged people to stay two metres apart and avoid "face to face contact", he had broken his own Covid rules.
Initially, he clung onto his job while boss Boris Johnson was criticised for not sacking him. He resigned soon afterwards after admitted breaking the rules.
However, in a new interview - and donning a navy polo neck - he has defended himself by saying he "fell in love" and insisted that he didn't break the law.
Reacting to the interview, Lorraine raised her eyebrows as she retorted: "Yeah. That is Matt Hancock, remember him? Former Health Secretary talking to Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett about his resignation last year.
"I don’t know what he’s come as. He looks like a Bond villain or a pound shop Milk Tray Man, maybe."
