Kate Garraway has confirmed that she and her family will star in a second ITV documentary about her husband Derek Draper, two years on from his torrid battle with coronavirus.
It was back in March 2020 that former political aide Derek was struck down by Covid-19 and, having been admitted to hospital, was placed in a medically induced coma after his condition took a turn for the worse.
Derek's health struggle occurred at the peak of the national lockdown, meaning Kate and the couple's children Billy and Darcy were separated from him for months as he fought for his life.
The family's horrific and heart wrenching year was documented in Finding Derek, the incredibly touching feature length programme which left viewers in tears when it aired last year.

The documentary featured some highly emotional moments, including a scene where Kate was on a FaceTime call with Derek from his hospital bed and he told her 'he couldn't go on' as she willed him to stay strong.
Finding Derek won the first ever National Television Award for Best Authored Documentary in September, with Kate getting a standing ovation from the capacity crowd at the O2 Arena as she accepted the trophy.
And now, the Good Morning Britain and Life Stories host has revealed to her Instagram followers that a second Derek documentary - Caring for Derek, will be on ITV on February 22.
Giving an update to fans, Kate wrote: " Spring is such a wonderful time of year when life is blossoming & there’s a sense of fresh hope & new chapters. I am really praying it is for me & my family as well.
"On Tues 22nd Feb, a new film on @itv #CaringforDerek will document our family’s challenges from the 1st moment Derek arrived home almost 1yr ago.
"So many of you have been so kind to ask after him and Derek & I hope the doc will bring comfort to all of you who have found life has thrown you a curveball & you have had to scramble to adjust."
One of her many followers replied: "I’m so looking forward to watching caring for Derek, it feels like we have all been on the same road as you Kate. Wishing Derek and you all my best wishes."
Another reacted: "Can't wait to watch the new documentary, lots of love to you all. Kate you are one amazing woman."
