Ben Shephard told his Good Morning Britain colleague Kate Garraway that she had 'disgusted' the show's floor manager on Friday, as the two clashed over a bizarre but of breaking news.
Much to the delight of many viewers at homes, the long-serving colleagues and close friends were at the helm of the ITV breakfast programme, as it rounded out another week of live broadcasts. And, as well as some of the serious stories dominating headlines and reaction to Andy Murray's dramatic second round tie at Wimbledon, the presenters also addressed a story that had even made the front page of the Daily Star - that people had been eating Weetabix wrong for years.
The company behind the famous breakfast cereal have released a statement, declaring that the 'correct' way to enjoy the dish is to put the milk in the bowl first, then pop the Weetabix in after. This is in stark contrast to the way most people have been having Weetabix their whole lives, assuming that the milk should always go on top of the cereal.

Definitely one of those whose been doing the latter, Ben remarked: "We're eating our Weetabix wrong ... the theory is you're supposed to put the milk in the bowl first," Kate replied: "Everybody does that."
Ben snapped back: "No they don't," but standing firm on her own opinion, Kate told him: "You put the milk in first and then the Weetabix absorbs the milk."
Disagreeing with Kate and questioning the Weetabix creators, Ben told his co-host: No you don't, our floor manager is shaking his head in disgust," adding: "I can't tell you how wrong you are."
Viewers at home were as equally as shocked as Ben on the revelation on the correct way to eat Weetabix, with one tweeting: "Ben is 100% right! Weetabix first then milk, only weirdo's do it the other way, sorry Kate" and another, in agreement, posting: "Ben is right with the weetabix. That’s exactly how I do it"
