Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield appearing together on ITV This Morning has become an institution. And while other popular hosts step in for the pair on certain days of the week, the duos morning banter on the show has become a constant that is expected by fans. A reason that rumours that Holly will quit have hit some fans hard.
The popular presenter sparked fears she’ll quit ITV This Morning as Rochelle Humes stepped in for a third day. Holly is currently battling shingles and so hasn't made an appearance on the show. She typically hosts the show with Phillip each Monday to Thursday.
The 42 year-old mum-of-three has been missing all week which has led some fans to question her future on the daytime TV show. One viewer said on Twitter: "Call me cynical bit I think we have seen the last of the Phil and Holly duo."

The social media comment continued: "Thought Shingles was something you got over 70. Not nice. Poor Holly does seem to be more off than on @thismorning thank god we have troopers like @AlisonHammond who rarely goes sick and is on today even though she's not presenting", said a fan.
According the NHS website, shingles is an infection that causes a painful rash. The fist signs can be tingling or painful feeling in an area of skin, a headache or feeling generally unwell. It says a rash will appear a few days later. It can take up to four weeks for the rash to heal.
Another social media user wrote: "Oh look Philip is back and Holly goes off... Has the dynamic duo finally over?!?!" According to Birmingham Live, another penned: "Holly pulling a sicky after her 2 week Easter break, something is not right there, bet she's just trying to stay away." Joining in, another viewer added: "So Holly will be off again from This Morning... how much time do you need off #thismorning".
In an Instagram post, Holly shared: "Hi... Just to let you know I may be away for the rest of the week as I have shingles... I'll be back as soon as I'm better. Huge love, Holly."
The talk show wrote on social media: "Tomorrow at 10am on ITV1 and STV, it's welcome back after the Easter holidays to Phillip and get better soon to Holly who's off ill for a few days. Phillip and Rochelle have a packed show... and a very special live announcement from Alison Hammond around midday."
