Good Morning Britain has hit back after viewers complained about changes to the set.
This week the ITV breakfast show kicked off with a festive theme as the studio was adorned with huge Christmas trees. But fans hated it, as they said that November was "too early" for such decorations.
Today, Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid addressed the complaints. Ben asked: "How can it ever be too early for Christmas Susanna Reid?"

Susanna replied: "Well, some people think it is. I was sent complaints yesterday online." Ben joked that they get complaints everyday as Susanna added: "But yesterday it happened because of the Christmas trees."
She said: "It isn't yet advent so it isn't yet Christmas. What on earth are we thinking here in the Good Morning Britain studio?"
Ben justified the ITV show's decision as he said: "But it's been a pretty rubbish year. It's been a little bit tough on everybody.
"Why not bring a bit of cheer early? Why can't we enjoy them for a little bit longer and get them up in the studio like our very understated options?" He added that by Christmas there would be a frenzy of "joy and delight".
But the complaints continued on Twitter as fans disagreed with them. Peter said: "Is it December yet? If the answer is no, it's too early for Christmas."
Alan said: "Unless Xmas is now held in November, then yes. Way too early. Give it another three weeks."
