Britain's Got Talent honoured King Charles III on the day of his Coronation, with a very different introduction to the ones viewers have been used to from the new series.
Just like rivals the BBC, ITV kicked off its coverage very early on Coronation day, with Good Morning Britain airing a special episode as guests, including BGT hosts Ant and Dec flocked to Westminster Abbey, with full coverage of King Charles and Queen Camilla arriving and the service itself airing across the morning and into the afternoon.
And the broadcaster's nods to the Coronation didn't stop there as, while it wasn't live on Saturday night, Britain's Got Talent also paid its own tribute to the new monarch.

Right since its launch in 2007, the prize for every winner of the long-running programme has been to perform at the Royal Variety Show, in front of members of the Royal Family. Referencing that, Amanda Holden appeared on screen right at the start of the latest episode to say: "Every year it's our job to find talent to perform at the Royal Variety Performance," before Alesha Dixon remarked: "Every year, some of our best acts have performed for King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family."
Next up to appear in the special opening was newest BGT judge Bruno Tonioli, who explained: "The bar for talent this year has already been raised," before Simon Cowell rounded things off by explaining: "We need an act good enough to perform in front of the King," as a clip of Charles and Camilla arriving at a past Royal Variety performance appeared on screen.
A town crier was then seen and heard declaring that 'auditions continue' as Land of Hope and Glory played in the background and one of the hopefuls backstage at the London Pallidum commented: "Imagine if we get to perform for the Royal Family."
