ITV's Ant and Dec hit by schedule change as Saturday Night Takeaway moved for rugby

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway has been moved back in the schedules this week, as ITV makes changes for rugby coverage.

It's been a year since Takeaway fans were left angry by the news that the primetime favourite had been cancelled for a week ,to allow the broadcaster to show England v France in the Six Nations. ITV came under fire from viewers who argued that the rugby could have been shown on ITV3 or ITV4 or Takeaway could have just been shown a bit later.

Well, that's exactly what will happen this week as, rather than shelving Saturday Night Takeaway entirely, the latest episode of the new series will start 15 minutes later, with Ant and Dec broadcasting live to the nation from 7.15pm, rather than 7. And, any fans worried about being short changed due to the shift, needn't worry, as the show will still run for its usual 90 minutes, finishing at 8.45pm.

Coverage of Ireland v England will start at 4.30pm, with kick off at 5pm and than after the match, ITV viewers can look forward to seeing Ant and Dec joined by Joe Wicks, who will star in the latest I'm A Celebrity Get Out of Me Ear; Scissor Sisters star Jake Shears, who will join the Geordie hosts for the End of the Show Show and Muriel's Wedding icon Toni Colette, who will MC proceedings as this week's Star Guest Announcer.

A teaser for this week's Takeaway also revealed that SingALong Live will return, giving viewers at home the chance to win and the show will also feature the third instalment of murder mystery Big Wig Manor.
