ITV has announced its full schedule for the day ahead, as many fan favourite shows have been axed and replaced with special viewings following the Queen's death.
TV schedules have been chopped and changed over the last few days, following the announcement that the Queen had died at Balmoral on Thursday, aged 96. After the sad news broke, both ITV and BBC replaced their normal programming with ongoing coverage of Her Majesty's passing.
Monday's ITV schedule sees daytime hits like Lorraine and Loose Women replaced as well as the evening soap Emmerdale being cut. However, both Good Morning Britain and This Morning will still air on Monday, although big changes have been made to both shows, writes the Mirror.
GMB will air from 6am until the later time of 10am, hosted by Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard - while Lorraine has been dropped for the day. Following GMB will be an hour-long ITV News Special, The King’s Tour - Westminster.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will then present a special edition of This Morning in the later time slot of 11am, until 1pm. The episode will feature stories and memories from people who met and encountered The Queen during her reign.
Loose Women has also been dropped from Monday's daytime schedule, and replaced with another ITV News Special: Queen Elizabeth II: Lying At Rest, which will continue throughout the afternoon.
ITV quiz shows do return in the evening though, with Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals at 4:30pm, and The Chase at 5pm which will air until 6pm. At this time, viewers will be shown their regional news broadcast, followed by an extended ITV Evening News at 6:30pm which will run through early evening until 8pm.
Emmerdale is once again axed from schedules on Monday night, while Friday's episode is also yet to be aired. Coronation Street makes a return to schedules, with an hour-long episode that was meant to be shown on Friday originally.
ITV drama The Suspect will also air as normal at 9pm, followed by ITV News At 10, and a documentary narrated by Mary Nightingale, Queen Elizabeth II, at 11pm. It is not yet clear when the soaps will air any missed episodes, with further schedule alterations set to be revealed on Monday and the rest of the week.
