This weekend’s horse racing has had more changes than the wind in the build-up to Saturday, with the weather claiming a lot of the jumping cards in the UK. As a result the BHA have acted swiftly to make sure the ITV Racing cameras have some action this Saturday – with Chelmsford and Newcastle keeping the show on the road.

ITV Racing To Show Six Races From Newcastle and Chelmsford
The BHA created a brand new card on the All Weather at Chelmsford on Saturday, with four races set to be shown on ITV Racing.
These include a 0-90 handicap over 1m that is worth just shy of £21k to the winner (2:40).
They’ve also set up a new jumps horse racing card at Ffos Las, but this could backfire as the Welsh track are now also having to survive a 7:30am Friday inspection.
While, the Newcastle meeting, that was due to start later in the day has been brought forward so the ITV Racing team can also show some action from their tapeta track.
In total – as long as the weather holds up – there will be six races from the AW at Chelmsford and Newcastle being shown on ITV Racing – see below.
