Paul O'Grady fans were gutted after he issued an announcement on For the Love of Dogs.
The Birkenhead entertainer has returned for another edition of the popular ITV programme which follows the ups and downs of life at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
The show is now in its 10th season and Paul cared for more four-legged friends in need during Sunday's episode.

Paul shared an adorable snap of his two dogs on Instagram ahead of tonight's programme and confirmed it will be the last of this series.
He said: "Arfur and Conchita taking it easy on the Lisa Dingle Memorial Blanket.
"The chair is covered up because Sausage ate the arm and took a chunk out of the back. PogDogs is on at 7pm tonight on Itv and it’s the last one in the series."
Gutted fans flooded the comments and said they will miss the show after he issued the update.
