ITV National Lottery's New Year's Eve Big Bash viewers criticise Alesha Dixon for 'ridiculous' outfit

Alesha Dixon was criticised for her outfit on The National Lottery's New Year's Eve Big Bash. The Britain's Got Talent judge was accused of 'ruining' the show as she was was hosting the end-of-year entertainment show with comedian Jason Manford.

The pair were analysing the cultural highlights, key sporting moments and worldwide events that have had an impact on the UK throughout the year, reports the Birmingham Live. Jason and Alesha were also presenting performances and one-off collaborations from the likes of Tom Grennan, Adam Lambert, Joel Corry, Raye, Katherine Jenkins and Cirque du Soleil.

But viewers took to social media to have their say as many were majorly distracted by Alesha's oversized jacket. @Pilch1972 wrote: "Someone get Alicia Dixon a jacket that fits properly….#nationallottery."

@Sandy_Bart commented: #aliciadixon #nationallottery please it’s New Year’s Eve and everyone remember this show for that ridiculous jacket. Don’t be a slave to ugly fashion. Such a lovely lady ask someone in the audience to loan you a nice jacket. It’s running the show seriously so not right."

@dog_shelf said: "Ooh, @richardosman, check your wardrobe. It looks like @AleshaOfficial is wearing your jacket (and not much else) on the #nationallottery show."

@DeniseDallas asked: "What about alesha's jacket? maybe she'll grow into it #nationallottery." @FeatherstoneSir added: "Alicia Dixon looks utterly ridiculous tonight. Must have borrowed a coat from lost and found #NationalLottery."
