ITV Masked Singer viewers divided by Davina McCall's new hairstyle

Viewers of ITV's The Masked Singer have taken issue with the hairstyle of one of its presenters after the return of the competition. The show sees celebrities dressed up in zany outfits and singing, with a panel of judges having to guess who is behind the mask.

Previous big names to have featured in the show include Norwegian vocalist Morten Harket and ex-footballer Teddy Sheringham. But it wasn't the figures behind the masks that got viewers talking when the ITV show returned for its fourth series on Sunday, December 1.

The judging panel features Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall. It was the hairstyle of the latter that ended up sparking conversation online.

A third added: 'why does Davina McCall look like a Claudia Winkelman version of the emoji.'
