ITV Love Island: Who is coupled up and who is single after Casa Amor recoupling?

Love Island featured the "most dramatic" Casa Amor recoupling ever tonight.

Laura Whitmore headed back to the villa as the islanders had a big decision to make - would they stick or twist from their original couples? Some decisions caused relief while others had everyone holding their breath.

The Irish host kicked off the night as she said: "As you all know, tonight there will be a recoupling. Boys - each of you have a big decision to make."

She continued: "So I’m gonna ask you one by one if you want to stick with your partner who has been away in Casa Amor for the past few days, or whether you want to recouple with one of these gorgeous girls standing in front of you.

"Now remember, the girls in Casa Amor have also been given the choice of whether to stick with you or couple up with someone new. So boys, it’s time to make your decisions and let’s find out what the girls have decided to do…"

We take a look at who made what decision. Here are all of the new couples and singletons.

The new couples

Jay was the first to make a decision as he recoupled with Chyna. Danica, who he was originally coupled with, decided to twist too as she recoupled with Josh.

Danica said that she was hoping that Jay found a lovely lady to couple up with. She added: "I'm glad you seem very happy Jay."

Davide was next up. He was originally coupled up with Ekin-Su before the girls left for Casa Amor. The Italian stallion decided that he would stay loyal to Ekin as he chose to stick.

Ekin also remained loyal as she headed back into the main villa alone. She said: "I made a promise and I stuck by it and I'm here to prove myself. I've learnt that distance makes the heart grow fonder."

Dami shocked everyone as he said: "Summer's not over it's only just started." He went on to twist from his original couple with Indiyah and chose to recouple with Summer instead.

But it turned out that Indiyah had also had her head turned. She walked back into the villa hand-in-hand with Casa Amor boy Deji.

Dami held back laughter but Indiyah didn't look pleased at all. There was definitely tension in the air as the former flames sarcastically said they were happy for each other.

Luca said he was feeling "unsure" when it was his turn, despite people thinking that he and Gemma were the most loyal couple. The fishmonger had been sleeping outside so that he didn't have to share a bed with any Casa Amor girls.

He chose to remain coupled up with Gemma as he said: "There wasn't much temptation." Luca had a massive grin on his face as Gemma walked back in alone. They both chose to remain in a couple together.

Andrew was next as he dropped a bombshell as he thanked the Casa Amor girls for telling him "what Tasha had said behind his back." He had been getting closer to Coco when the villas were separated.

Ultimately, he decided to twist and recoupled with Coco. She said that she felt "amazing but a bit awkward."

Tasha also chose to couple up with someone else as she said: "I had to stay true to myself." She came back hand in hand with Josh. Andrew called her out for being fake but Tasha hit back as she said she felt more herself in her new couple.

Jacques was the final boy to make a decision. He was originally coupled up with Paige, and they had each poured their hearts out to each other before Casa Amor started.

He shocked everyone as he chose to stick with Paige despite trying to find a connection with multiple of the Casa Amor girls. Paige returned alone as they both chose to stay coupled up together.

The singletons

Three Casa Amor girls and three Casa Amor boys were all left single at the end of the decision making. The girls were Cheyanna, Jazmine and Mollie. The boys were Jack, George and Samuel.

The six remaining singletons were dumped from the villa.
