Love Island viewers soon flocked to social media after awkward scenes unfolded during Tuesday’s, June 27 episode. The scenes in question saw Kady McDermott, who recently returned to the villa after first appearing on the series in 2016, call Zachariah Noble the name of her ex.
As Zach delivered Kady breakfast, she called him Scott. Kady spent the majority of the second series of Love Island coupled up with Scott Thomas and ultimately finished in third place that year.

One person wrote on social media: “‘Scott’ and a swerved kiss , Zach that girl don’t want you,” in reference to Kady avoiding Zach’s advances in Monday’s, June 26 episode - read more about that here.
A second said: “He got pied, made her breakfast and then she called him Scott???” And a third wrote: “Kady does NOT want Zach. how can she call him Scott, PLS.”
A fourth person commented: “Kady was put on this earth to Humble Zach, hows she gunna call man scott.” And a fifth wrote: "On top of swerving the kiss kady called Zach Scott LOOOOOOOOOL please Zach give up."
Kady's return to the villa immediately caused controversy. The 27-year-old, who hails from Stevenage, chose to couple up with Zachariah but in doing so, his former partner Molly Marsh was dumped from the island.
Speaking on Love Island: Aftersun, Molly said of her exit from the show: "I didn’t expect Kady to have such a big decision to make so soon. But, in her defence, she had to do what she needed to do. And if I was in her position, I would have also chosen Zach because to me he is the best looking person in there, he is the guy that gives off the best energy. She chose the right person.
