ITV Love Island's Tasha and Andrew swap numbers with cheeky message as they get their phones back

Lovebirds Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have swapped numbers as they headed back to the UK after winning hearts and finding love in Mallorca. The smitten couple, who came fourth in the ITV2 dating contest, had a rocky journey when earlier in the eight week series Tasha admitted to wanting to get to know bombshell Charlie Radnedge, then Andrew recoupled with Coco Lodge in Casa Amor.

But after lots of tears and drama, which saw Andrew admitting that he had canoodled with Coco in bed, the pair admitted they still had feelings for each other. From then onwards the couple rebuilt their trust and model and dancer Tasha asked real estate Andrew to be her official boyfriend.

The final of the 2022 series aired on Monday and saw Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti crowned the winners of the show. Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished in second place, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack in third and Tasha and Andrew finished in fourth place.

In the villa the Islanders are given mobile devices to replace the stars' real phones, which are whisked away before the start of the show to stop them from communicating with the outside world. The phones have no internet access but the Islanders can receive the famous 'texts' to inform them of what's to come.

They can also take selfies and videos, many of which are posted on the official Love Island social media pages. And as they flew back home from Mallorca Tasha and Andrew swapped numbers on their own phones.

On his Instagram Stories Andrew screengrabbed a chat in which he asked Tasha cheekily: "Oi oii sexy! What's your number?" And he joked: "Reckon she'll send it over." And Tasha updated as she shared a snap of the couple and said: "EEEEK WE'RE BACK!!! PS I gave you my number."

There were joyous scenes at London Stansted Airport as the Islanders were greeted by their loved-ones. And Tasha was swept up into the arms of her proud dad Tarek.

Ahead of the final he was beaming as he spoke about his inspirational daughter, who was Love Island's first deaf contestant. She uses a cochlear implant after being born deaf which she calls her 'superpower.'

Tasha's dad said: "I've had so much from round the world from people saying how much Tasha has inspired them especially young kids and even adults with hearing disabilities, blindness, different disabilites who are just looking at her representation and saying 'you know, actually there is a way to get on with life and to achieve things and to do things if you change your mentality about what they call a disability.'

Speaking about the floods of messages he's received he said: " I've had hundreds I can't tell you how many. I'm so blown away by the impact that she's having."

And he added: "Honestly, truthfully, that is the main reason she wanted to go on. Anybody that sent hate. no thanks whatsoever. Just leave it out. Take it somewhere else. It's called Love Island. It's not 'Hate Island' okay?"
