After falling for each other in front of the TV cameras on Love Island, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen have finally made their relationship official. After much talk about when it might happen, smitten Luca asked Gemma to be his girlfriend in a very romantic setting.
Fans were crying as they watched a video clip shared by Luca of the sweet moment. The 23-year-old fishmonger asked the all-important question in a sunny poolside setting festooned with candles, red roses and rose petals.
Red balloons floating in the swimming pool spelled out the words 'be my girlfriend.' A beaming Luca presented his love with a red gift bag and she looked overwhelmed as she unwrapped a Cartier nail bracelet.

Gemma, 19, coupled with Luca on the ITV2 dating show after originally being paired with Liam Llewellyn followed by Davide Sanclimenti who went on to win the contest with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. Despite going through a turbulent time in Mallorca, when they rowed over a clip of Gemma sharing banter with fellow Islander Billy Brown, they came runners-up.
Supporters have been eagerly awaiting for the pair to become 'official' despite sharing their love for each other while in the famous villa. They decided not to rush things and wait until they were back in the real world before becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
Dressage rider Gemma looked stunning in an elegant black strapless dress with gold lace-up heels. She recently had fans talking by sporting pair of ripped denim jeans on her Instagram. "Boyfriend fit," she briefly captioned the post as followers wondered if this referred to their relationship status.
