ITV Love Island's Jazmine Nichols holds hands with fellow bombshell in Manchester as she's seen after sepsis ordeal

Love Island's Jazmine Nichols appeared on good form as she strutted through Manchester after suffering a terrifying sepsis health scare. The 21-year-old was snapped in the city as she headed to Boujee Bar for a photoshoot on Thursday (August 18).

It is the first time Jazmine, who entered the show during the ITV2 dating show's annual 'relationship test' twist Casa Amor last month, has been seen in public after she was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery. The nightclub manager and model Jazmine worried fans by posting a picture from a hospital bed last week.

She told her newfound following that she "was in good hands," but would be off social media for a while and not filming any content. After a few days she returned to her social media profile to share how she had become "seriously unwell". Jazmine explained how nurses were left concerned when she began "vomiting uncontrollably' and turned "blue/grey".

In a lengthy statement posted on her account, Jazmine wrote: "I became unwell in the early hours of Tuesday morning and was taken into hospital later that day. Whilst waiting to be seen my condition deteriorated rapidly to what I now know is sepsis. Had it not been for the quick thinking and action of a staff member who noticed how unwell I had become things could have been very different."

Continuing to open up about her terrifying ordeal, Love Island bombshell Jazmine said: 'Within minutes I had turned a blue/grey colour and was vomiting uncontrollably. My blood pressure was 70/30. It was at this point that the doctors informed my family that I was seriously unwell.

"I was fortunate to have the most amazing care and was quickly hooked up to IVs containing antibiotics and fluids. Blood results showed that I had developed Sepsis - so rapidly it happened in a matter of minutes." Jazmine then followed up her concerning update with a post to raise awareness about sepsis.

She then added: "We believe this happened because I had ignored an infection whilst away from home last week and as a result needed emergency surgery in the early hours of Wednesday morning once my condition had stabilised. I want to thank our amazing NHS for the quick action and excellent care. I still have a long recovery ahead and will be taking some much needed rest, but I am feeling incredibly lucky to still be alive right now."

Less than a week after sharing her health scare, Jazmine put on a sensational display for her outing in Manchester, donning a black crop top and matching cargo pants as she stepped out alongside fellow islander Mollie Salmon. Jazmine curled her luscious brunette locks which she styled into a low ponytail.

She also added a pair of beige trainers and gold earrings to her look with the addition of a black handbag. Jazmine was all smiles as she posed for the waiting cameras on Bridge Street in the city centre.

Jazmine gripped hands with Mollie, who opted for a white crop top with a deep v-neckline along with a pair of camo trousers and white flip-flops despite the rain starting to fall after the latest heatwave to hit much of the country. She also added gold jewellery to her overall look and opted for a Louis Vuitton bumbag which she wore across her body.
