Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti didn't hold back when he met Ruth Langsford on Loose Women. The 27-year-old appeared live on the ITV lunchtime show alongside girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to chat about winning the dating show last week. It was the pair's first live TV interview since leaving the now famous Mallorcan villa.
Italian Davide, who owns a shisha business in Manchester, opened up on his instant attraction to Ekin-Su. He told the panellists and viewers: "I said, I want a girl that when I see her, I say 'wow'. So I felt straight away there was something." Ekin-Su added: "It was the instant spark moment."
She went on to tell Ruth, Brenda Edwards, Gloria Hunniford, and Nadia Sawalha: "I came through and sat on the fire pit, I literally glanced at Davide and felt this spark and I was like, 'Ok, I can just act cool now.'" And it was Gloria who asked the couple if they were living together at the moment, to which Davide said: "Not now exactly, we don’t share the same house, but we are always together." But Turkish actress Ekin Su then added: "We’re planning to, probably September, October time."

But following their loved-up appearance on the show, Ruth took to TikTok to share a video of Davide backstage. The businessman, who is from Rome but lives in Manchester, was seen in a white shirt and skinny grey trousers which had been belted around the waist.
From behind the camera, Ruth is head saying cheerily: "Hi Davide!" to which he replies: "You're a liar, actress, go the f**k out," before walking off in the opposite direction. As the video is about to cut off, Ruth can be heard bursting into laughter as fans of Love Island know she had gotten him to recreate one of his iconic moments from the 2022 series.
Earlier in their Love Island journey, self-confessed Italian stallion Davide was absolutely raging after discovering Ekin-Su's secret kisses with bombshell Jay Younger. Davide was coupled up with the 27-year-old actress, who had her head turned by investment banker Jay and sneakily took to the terrace to sneak off and share a smooch.
After hearing the news, a dramatic argument broke out between Davide and Ekin-Su, with Davide brutally branding her a 'liar' and 'actress'.
Ruth captioned the clip of Davide recreating his rant: "That actually means he loves me!" before adding: "Ti amo @davidesancliofficial #loveislandwinner2022 #loveisland." But while some saw the funny side, others felt sorry for Davide.
Jackskipp said: "He must be tired of saying that already." Siobhán wrote: "He's going to get sick of saying that soon." Boooom wrote: "Ngl people telling him to do it is dragging it now." itsjustnuz commented: "It's so forced now. Poor davide." nathanc171 shared: "Shame that that line will last with this guy forever and he's probably sick of it now."
But Ruth was clearly a fan of the Love Island winners as she also posted a short video of her alongside Ekin-Su and Davide on Instagram. It showed the group in the Loose Women studio, with Ruth in the middle of the couple as they blew a kiss for the camera. "So lovely to meet these gorgeous people today. Love Island winners 2022!"
