ITV Love Island rocked as fans predict who Danica will choose while another boy leaves the island

Love Island's latest bombshell was revealed during Friday night's episode during a racy segment called Sex-Sea. In a water-theme game, which saw the girls compete for the 'sexiest dancer' crown after emerging from a giant pink shell, newcomer Danica Taylor made her entrance.

The 21-year-old showcased her dance moves before leaving the other Islanders to compete, with Tasha Ghouri voted the winner. Later, after Danica spent some time around the pool getting to know her potential matches, there was a shock as the Islanders were told there would be another re-coupling.

A stunned Danica was told to choose which boy she wanted to couple up with in the ITV dating contest, leaving a boy single and meaning he would get sent home. The episode ended with Danica being given the first pick and she had made her mind up despite hardly having time to speak with everyone properly.

In tense scenes she gave her reasons as to why she was choosing that boy. Danica said: "I've decided to couple up with this boy. I have not even been here 24 hours so this is a really weird situation for me to be in.

"I've barely got to know any of you. You're all lovely boys, but I didn't come in here to play safe. I need to sort-of follow of my heart.

"I can kind of only go on what I can see at face value and somebody who I feel like is usually my type. I need to explore that unfortunately so I'm going to have to follow my heart on this one. The boy that I want to couple up with is..."

In classic Love Island style the show finished on a cliffhanger just as Danica was about to say who she had chosen. Viewers will now have to wait until Sunday night to find out who she has picked and who will leave.

But fans have predicted that Danica may choose to couple up with Luca Bish, who is currently coupled-up with Gemma Owen. Some viewers think either Davide Sanclimenti, who has dumped his partner in the villa Eki-Su Cülcüloğlu after funding out she kissed newcomer Jay Younger, or Remi Lambert who will be left single.

And many think Gemma may swoop in to save Davide after they were previously paired-up. @emshelx tweeted: "When Danica inevitably picks Luca I'm gonna need Gemma to take one for the team and save Davide because the Italian snack cannot leave the villa."

And @PxckedIze predicted: "Danica is gonna couple up with Luca. Gemma is gonna couple up with Davide. Remi is going home mark my words." @kategxo wrote: "Surely Danica’s picking Luca, leaving Gemma to pick Davide for a fun little full circle moment?" And @BevleyN commented: "Danica will pick Luca & Davide will end up with Gemma. Remi didn't bring his 'A' game so reckon he'll be leaving."

Liam Llewellyn became the first boy to leave Love Island 2022 after struggling to find a romantic connection. Then on Monday bombshell Afia Tonkmor was the first contestant to be dumped from the Island following the arrival of new boy Jacques O'Neill who chose to couple with Paige Thorne and leaving her single.
