ITV Love Island final results reveal how popular Ekin-Su and Davide were with viewers

Love Island bosses have revealed how fans voted in Monday night's dramatic final. After eight weeks of flirting, grafting and falling in love the sun has set over the famous ITV2 villa set in Mallorca.

They got off to a rocky start in their relationship but Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti found their way back to each other. After a romantic date in a vineyard they became firm favourites with fans with 'Italian snack' Davide and 'Turkish delight' Ekin-Su affectionately dubbed 'mum and dad' by fans of the dating contest.

After making romantic declarations at a summer ball the couple were left speechless with delight as they were crowned winners of Love Island 2022. In second place was Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.
