After making an interesting start to his time in the Love Island villa, Jay Younger has moved on from the drama and appears to just be having a nice time in Mallorca following a few failed couplings. The investment analyst has had an easy few days in the villa while his fellow islanders were involved in the biggest set of showdowns the ITV2 dating show has seen so far this series.
The main villa and Casa Amor islanders were reunited during Thursday evening’s episode, forcing each to choose between staying faithful to their original partner or dumping them for one of the bombshells.
There was trouble in paradise after it was revealed that Jacques had kissed Cheyanne Kerr while Paige was away in the second villa. During Friday night's episode, after Jacques chose to remain coupled up with Paige, the pair struggled to repair their relationship as the rugby player was forced to try and explain his actions to the Welsh paramedic.

Elsewhere in the villa, Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri also struggled to establish their feelings for one another after the tense recoupling. The pair, who were the show’s only original couple, both chose to recouple with new arrivals Coco Lodge and Billy Brown after Andrew discovered Tasha had doubts over her feelings for him.
Later, as further intimate information about Andrew and Coco’s time together was revealed, viewers witnessed tensions reach boiling point between Andrew and Tasha, as the dancer hit back at the boys' reaction to her crying and Andrew geared up to spend the night sleeping outside in the villa’s garden.
But while chaos ensured, Love Island viewers were left predicting what's next for Jay after he decided that it was just friends between him and new girl Chyna Mills. He decided to couple up with the 23-year-old youth support worker during the Casa Amor recoupling while his former partner Danica Taylor emerged from the second property with Josh Le Grove.
However, less than 24 hours into their time as an official couple, Jay was quick to thrown cold water on any possible sparks of romance. First, Chyna expressed her concerns about her new man to fellow new girls Coco and Summer, as he didn't touch her when they shared a bed.
Love Island viewers then saw Jay talk to the boys about his feelings for Chyna, saying he didn't want to be in a couple for the sake of it and he didn't feel like himself. During a conversation, Jay told Chyna they were "good together as friends", and "I feel I want to continue as friends in that way."
While Chyna appeared cool, calm, and collected about the situation, fans of the show were quickly flocking to social media to share their predictions on Jay's next move - and it was pretty unanimous - after Jay previously tried getting to know Paige.
@mabintou tweeted: "Jay going off Chyna when Paige and Jacques are having trouble #LoveIsland." @t0bymason said: "Jay probably thinks that Paige is vulnerable that why he is getting rid of Chyna #loveisland." @433cra echoed: "Jay really dropping chyna because he saw that paige is done with jacques #loveisland."
@rhaddierhe wrote: "NOT JAY SWITCHING UP NOW PAIGE AND JACQUES ARE ROCKYYYY #LoveIsland." @joylene_ad commented: "Jay is defo onto Paige thats why he isn't interested in Chyna. Man's setting his next stage of his plan #LoveIsland." @GeorgiaEH17 added: "Jay friendzoning Chyna just as Paige ends things with Jacques that’s not suspicious at all #LoveIsland."
