Love Island fans think they have worked out who the 'real' instigator is amid all the drama in Monday night's episode (January 30). The 2023 winter series, which is now in its third week running, returned to ITV2 last night with a juicy episode which ended with a dramatic cliffhanger.
Sunday night's episode saw Cheshire footballer Tom Clare, who is still coupled up with Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown despite calling things off last week, tell ring girl Olivia Hawkins that he wanted to 'see where things go' with her. But just hours later the footballer shared a 'secret' kiss up on the terrace with blonde bombshell Ellie Spence, behind the backs of their fellow islanders.
Viewers were left shocked as on Monday night, Tom told Olivia that he 'wasn't feeling it' with Ellie, despite their steamy kiss. Ellie decided to confide in farmer Will Young about hers and Tom's antics and the news soon spread like wildfire.

Up on the terrace Will spilled the gossip to Australian Jessie Wynter, who he is coupled up with, as well as Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad.
Later, Tanya decided to tell Zara what Ellie and Tom had been up to and after being stuck in a 'love triangle' with Tom and Olivia, Zara was desperate to tell Olivia the news.
"How am I going to sit on this bad boy information?" Zara said, "I'm telling Liv. This girl needs to know. Girl power man, bed's not even cold bro I'm still in it. He's in the doghouse."
The end of the episode saw Zara race up the stairs, followed closely by Tanya, as they interrupted Olivia and said "Olivia we need you right now."
With the episode ending on a cliffhanger, Love Island fans will have to tune in tonight to see how the news goes down.
But ahead of the episode, fans think they have sussed out who the real problem causer is amidst all the drama.
Despite Will initially spilling the gossip, viewers think that Tanya 'knew what she was doing' by telling Zara what she'd heard.
Taking to Twitter during the episode, @karmawhalleyyy wrote: "Tanya knew EXACTLY what she was doing telling Zara."
@kaiyamun agreed: "Tanya knew Zara was gonna go tell Olivia she just had to pretend she didnt want the secret to get out."
@Chezs88 tweeted: "Tanya told Zara cos she knew it would all kick off lol," as @isatadano added: "Tanya knew DAMN WELL Zara didnt intend on keeping a secret."
Other fans have also spotted a similarity to an incident in the 2019 series, where Tommy Fury told Molly-Mae Hague about Anton Danyluk flirting with a shopkeeper whilst the boys were out, and she went and told Belle Hassan, who Anton was coupled up with.
@marilyn_moyo tweeted: "Tanya telling Zara was like Molly Mae telling Bell about the shop keeper that Anton was chatting up after Tommy told Molly Mae not to say anything. chaotic."
@ScarletWitchSTN agreed: "Tanya revealing the secret reminds me of when Molly Mae told Anna about Anton and the shopkeeper in S5 and afterwards it came out that the producers forced her to tell Anna even though she had planned to just keep it a secret between her and Tommy."
