Love Island fans were in for some awkward scenes on Sunday night as newcomer Danica Taylor chose who she wanted to be coupled-up with around the fire pit. Jaws dropped as the dancer fearlessly picked fishmonger Luca Bish, who was already happily paired with Gemma Owen.
With one single boy at risk of being sent home Gemma chose to save Italian hunk Davide Sanclimenti, who she was previously coupled with in the villa. Love Island tradition sees couples share a bed together so fans were left baffled as they all noticed the same detail as the Islanders said goodnight.
Viewers took to Twitter to question why Gemma shared with Davide, who was left single after dumping Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, while Luca slept in the spare bed. Meanwhile Danica got a bed to herself after Luca made it clear he wasn't interested in her romantically.

Tonight the Islanders will break the ice with a steamy new kissing game Lip Service which will see the boys guzzle a mouthful of ingredients before sliding across a dancefloor where they have to transfer it to the girls. The girls then have to spit the contents into a giant cocktail glass and the first couple to fill it wins.
