ITV Love Island fans say 'they need to stop' as they're left 'repulsed' by scenes

Love Island fans have issued a plea to producers after being left 'repulsed' by some of the latest scenes coming out of the South African villa. A day out at the beach club ended in the dramatic return of host Maya Jama who had some news to share with the remaining islanders.

It was revealed that Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda will be dumped from the ITV2 dating show but had a big decision to make first. Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand, and Rosie Seabrook and Casey O’Gorman were all in the bottom four following a public vote for the most compatible couple.

But it was Olivia and Maxwell who were sent packing. As they prepared to say their goodbyes, Maya, 28, dropped the bombshell that the exiting couple would be deciding which other couple from the bottom four would be exiting the villa with them.

The TV and radio star, who took over the presenting role from Laura Whitmore after she quit last summer, said: "Olivia and Maxwell are not the only ones leaving. Two more islanders will also be dumped tonight. That decision is not down to the public or your fellow islanders, it’s actually down to you, Olivia and Maxwell."

But before the dramatic dumping announcement, the drama continued in the villa as Jessie Wynter confronted her fellow islanders about what they have been saying behind her back after her partner Will Young discovered what they had been saying behind Jessie's back.

During Tuesday night's show (February 28), Will ended up calling out his fellow islanders, saying: "Why is everyone moving like snakes? Everyone is moving like snakes. If everyone is talking about Jessie behind her back and not saying it directly down her throat, it's moving like a snake," he said, fuming at how it all happened."

However, despite all the drama happening on-screen, Love Island viewers were distracted when it got to bedtime - and not in a good way - as they got more than they bargained for as the cameras zoomed in on some of the couples' passionate kisses.

@User7653421890 tweeted: "They need to stop zooming in when the islanders are in bed i don’t wanna see peoples tongue doing the rollercoaster thanks x #loveIsland #shaq #casey." @MissOwusu1 said: "I’m REPULSED by seeing all that tongue action plssss lol #loveIsland." @Shane_Laffx commented: "I feel violated at the amount of tongue we've just seen #loveIsland." @CianNewman55 added: "GET THOSE TONGUES BACK IN YA MOUTHS !! Traumatising those bed scenes do be #loveIsland."
