There was an unexpected twist thrown in to raise temperatures at the end of Wednesday night's Love Island (January 25) as two new arrivals walked into the villa. The Islanders were still reeling from a brutal double dumping when the rug was pulled out from under them.
Love Island fans had been voting for their favourite boys and girls in the second elimination event of the winter series, set in South Africa. Australian bombshells Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters made the final decision that Haris Namani and Anna-May Robey should be sent home on the ITV2 dating contest.
After saying their goodbyes, the Islanders were then knocked for six to be rounded up again around the firepit and told there was to be a re-coupling. Not only that, they were joined by two new faces.

Ellie Spence, a 25-year-old business development executive at a law firm, from Norwich, and 24-year-old Spencer Wilks, a business owner from Bournemouth, joined them at the firepit and were told they had first pick. Viewers took to Twitter to have their say about the twist.
Many made the same plea for the bombshells to mix things up and add some excitement. @TashAmaka tweeted: "Not mad at that little plot twist. Shake things up bombshells!"
@N0BODYGETSME wrote: "I hope those bombshells bring some drama with them I am thirsty." @amourshauna remarked: "Love Island producers really said let’s throw in a plot twist with the bombshells entering during the recoupling, good thing they’re aware with how boring this season is."
@gotthathenny echoed: "These bombshells better bring in some hot drama coz we’ve been craving for a while now." And @O_laronke applauded: "We thought it was either gonna be a recoupling or bombshells coming in but the producers gave us both."
@gotthathenny commented: "The producers actually clocked the show was getting boring and said, y’know what let’s drop some bombshells and plot twists." And @_JulieJulez exclaimed: "Bombshells before the recoupling AND they get to choose 1st....I like this twist!"
