Love Island fans were gushing last night as two of the villa's couples decided to take things to the next level. As the recoupling got underway, things started to heat up at Luca's speech.
Choosing Gemma, he said: "I think elephant juice is getting a bit boring now, so hopefully we'll move on from that soon." Fans were quick to pick up on his use of elephant juice, which looks similar to 'I love you' when lip read.
Islanders and fans alike were shocked at the revelation. Around the fire pit, jaws dropped and gasps were heard while online fans gushed at what was to come. @strongasjxdn exclaimed: "AHHHHHH Luca & Gemma finally saying those 3 words!!!"
On the terrace, Luca plucked up the courage to finally tell Gemma that he loved her and looked thoroughly chuffed when she reciprocated. Viewers were similarly bowled over, with many loving the couple's journey so far.
@radsmiff said: "Not me crying over Luca and Gemma". @Jess1DOM gushed: "I just love Gemma and Luca". And @dan9700 said: "I want Luca and Gemma to win Love Island they have stayed loyal the whole time."
Elsewhere, Tasha decided to take things to a new level and make things official with beau Andrew. After their vicious split as a result of their time in Casa Amor, it looked as if there was no way back for the pair.
But miracles can happen and they have found their feet with each other once again. Tasha took the plunge and, with the help of the other Islanders, set up a treasure hunt for Andrew. With notes leading him to their favourite spots in the villa, Tasha was waiting by the fire pit with a romantic speech at the ready. "So, Andrew Edward Le Page," she asked. "Will you be my boyfriend?"
Thankfully, there was no waiting until tomorrow's episode to find out as Andrew was quick to say yes. Meanwhile viewers were just as thrilled with the news.

@Lovieloony admitted: "Ok that was cute", and Ok-Specific4249 revealed "Can’t help it I’m ugly smiling" with some tearing up emojis.
Won over by the sentiment, xstardust95x revealed: "I usually hate bf/gf proposals, but this season has been lacking cheesy romance moments amid all the drama so I'm here for it!"
Even the sceptical ones were won over, with @BrownSlices admitting: "I don't like Tasha and Andrew but that was lovely come on!"
Though not everyone was convinced. @A2_Drippy said: "Is it just me or don’t you think Tasha’s feelings to Andrew is fake. 2 days ago she was mad at him?"
@abidickson01 reasoned: "Nah Andrew and Tasha forcing it."
Later, after the villa learned that the public had been voting for their favourite boys and girls, Andrew and Tasha were both in the bottom three. Will the new happy couple have done enough to survive another day?
