ITV Love Island fans fume as show keeps doing something they 'hate' with bombshells

Love Island fans have been left unhappy when it comes to the bombshells on this year's series. Jay Younger and Remi Lambert have caught the attention of a number of Islanders as they made their dramatic entrance into the villa during Tuesday night's episode (June 14).

The pair's arrival was first teased during Monday night's show but they didn't make their way into the ITV2 dating show's Mallorcan home until last night. The other islanders were enjoying a "shimmer and shine" party after successfully completing a challenge earlier in the day.

The male islanders had to compete in a car-themed “Men-Chanics” obstacle course, which saw them dressed in silver sparkly briefs. As part of it, they had to carry their partners on their backs through oily tyres as the fellow male contestants sprayed them with water, as well as having to perform a dance at the “carwash”. After they all competed, Dami Hope was voted as giving the best show by the female islanders

And as they celebrated into the evening, the two new contestants took them by surprise as they came in unannounced. A few of the female contestants seemed impressed with the new additions, notably Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu who declared she was going to get to know Jay – despite currently being coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti.

As they made their arrival, 28-year-old investment analyst Jay, from Edinburgh, said: "Sorry we’re late to the party." After chatting briefly with Jay, Ekin-Su told the girls: "I think I am going to pass out.. he’s so cute, I really like him, I am getting to know him."

Manchester-based model and rapper Remi, 22, also caused a stir, with Amber Beckford saying in the beach hut: “On first glance, they both look kind of cute." Paige Thorne also later added that the boys were ticking a lot of boxes of what she was looking for.

But Love Island fans had a major issue with their arrival into the villa. Manchester fashion brand In The Style tweeted: "Why do they always wait until the end to bring the new bombshells in…#LoveIsland." @nastyjoee said: "How are the bombshells shown in yesterdays preview only to be on todays episode for 30 seconds #LoveIsland."

@MsJessieSybil wrote: "Tired of Love Island only showing the bombshells in the last 30 seconds of the show!! #LoveIsland." @blixberrie shared: "I actually hate when they preview a new bombshell on Monday, then they only come at the end of the Tuesday epi and you have to wait till Wednesday to actually see them enter #LoveIsland."

@Emmmma82 commented: "How are they putting the bombshells in at the end when last night they made out tonight’s show was all about them! #LoveIsland." @Adrian_beautee added: "The cliffhangers aren’t gagging anyone, just give the bombshells at the start and let us see the fallout, I’m over the last 5 minutes being bombshells #LoveIsland."

Jacques and Jay are already set to face off (ITV)

But the tease of tonight's episode (Wednesday), certainly left viewers wanting to tune in. The new boys are set to "stir things up" as they get to know their fellow islanders. When Jacques tells Jay he plays rugby for a living, Jay takes a brutal swipe at the sportsman.

He asks: "You're a bit small for a rugby player, no?" Clearly fuming by Jay's comment, the 23-year-old immediately hits back and says: "You know what mate, I'll flatten you lad."
