New Love Island couple Davide Sanclimenti and Gemma Owen spent time getting to know each other as they went on the first date of the eighth series. The pair headed away from the famous ITV2 villa in Mallorca to catch some rays while making lemonade together.
Business owner Davide, from Manchester, and dressage rider Gemma took the opportunity ask each other questions. After discussing how many siblings they have the talk soon turned to marriage with Davide asking: “Do you want to get married? Have you ever thought about it?”
And Gemma replied: “Yeah definitely. I’d like to get married and I want to have kids.” She went on to say she wanted four kids and wasn't impressed when Davide said he would stop at two.

And Love Island fans took to Twitter to say they weren't seeing the chemistry. @neeyahneeyah tweeted: "This date is so painful to watch." @imaaanox wrote: "Zero chemistry." And @charcopson said: "Gemma and Davide are giving absolutely nothing."
@mellowedtea wrote: "I have never seen anything more cringe than these two trying to interact on this date." @kemikelly_ said: "Producers save us from the boredom of this date." @PeddyPro commented: "That date gave me 'what’s your favourite colour?' Vibes." And @ItsShamilaAgain said: "That was the most boring date I’ve seen on Love Island. Why was it so dry?"
But @AFFILIIATION said: "Davide and Gemma are too cute together. They each bring out a side in the other you just know no-one else in the villa would be able to." And @standupdaf wrote: "Without a doubt Davide and Gemma have the best personalities."
Other fans were wondering if Gemma would tell him that her dad is former England, Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen, which she has yet to mention on the dating contest which awards £50,000 to the viewers' favourite couple after eight weeks.
@hiddlesolo wondered: "Gemma bringing up the family subject so she can mention her dad." @_xvch asked: "When is Gemma going to drop her father’s name? Never?" And @Elizabe16518766 tweeted: "Gemma is really finding it tough not bringing her dad up I swear."
At the end of the date Gemma, 19, decided 'I think we got on well'. But she said she still wants to get to know student Liam Llewellyn, 22, who the public had voted her to be coupled with until she was picked by newcomer Davide, 27.
