ITV Love Island fans convinced producers stepped in as they fume over Luca Bish surviving public vote

Love Island fans are convinced that show bosses have been forced to step in after claims of bullying on the ITV2 show. Tuesday night's episode saw the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge continue as the boys took their turn in kissing the girl they fancy, 'proposing' to another and putting a cream pie in the face of a third.

Dami Hope shocked viewers after he chose to kiss his former Casa Amor flame Summer Botwe, before getting down on one knee to propose to Indiyah who was having none of it and threw his ring in the pool.

Things then got heated after Dami Hope chose to pie Tasha Ghouri telling her "You usually get away with a lot of stuff, but this pie you're not getting away from." Luca Bish also put a pie in Tasha's face as he said "I could give you a list as long as Adam, but it is just a game."

Following the challenge, Tasha was in tears after telling her boyfriend Andrew Le Page and friend Paige that it wasn't the pies that upset her, as she was expecting them from Dami and Luca.

"It's the reasons after they gave, that was nasty," she said, "when they are going deep in with a personal attack on me, it's a complete different story. It's the fact that they were laughing."

This isn't the first time that fans have accused the Dami and Luca of 'bullying' Tasha as tensions arose during the Suck and Blow challenge on Monday night.

The game saw the contestants pass a card around using only their mouths, and whoever dropped it had to complete a dare. After dropping the card, Luca chose Tasha as the Islander who was 'riding the coattails' of their partner and Dami said Andrew Le Paige was being 'walked all over' by his partner.

Following the fallout of the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge, Luca and Dami both took Tasha to one side and apologised to her, but viewers weren't convinced.

But fans of the ITV2 show branded the apologies 'fake' as they claimed the producers told the boys to apologise after the bullying allegations.

@Happyaf620 wrote: "The producers def forced Luca and Dami to “apologize”, bc that felt fake and insincere."

@mollyjagus tweeted: "100% the producers told Dami and Luca to apologise, there was no meaning, truth or genuine sentiment behind either of their apologies."

@leelaahearts added: "So frustrating looking at Dami & Luca passing off nastiness & bullying as jokes while extending fake apologies to Tasha. There is no way they suddenly had an epiphany about their behaviour on their own. These “apologies” are self serving face saving exercises."

Later in the episode, the Islanders were enjoying a VIP party outside of the villa with DJ Joel Corry making a guest appearance before Laura Whitmore made a surprise entrance.

The host told the contestants, "sadly the party is now over," as she asked the Islanders to line up.

At the end of Monday night's episode, viewers were asked to vote for their favourite girl and favourite boy, with those receiving the least votes at risk of being dumped from the island.

Following the public vote, Laura revealed that Danica Taylor and Summer were in the bottom two alongside Dami and Billy Brown. The host then said it was down to the fellow Islanders to pick one boy and one girl to leave the show.

However, after the bullying claims, viewers hoped to see Luca at risk of being dumped and fumed over him surviving the vote, with some viewers claiming producers rigged the results.

@Natisa05 said: "Sorry, think the producers changed public vote to exclude Luca from being in the bottom two because of Gemma. Should have been Luca, as well as Dami standing there. Who would the girls save then?."

amber64170911 tweeted: "It’s so obvious the producers have rigged gemma and luca to win because he is not in the bottom vote when no one voted him."

@roisink185 wrote: "Love Island votes are 100% rigged. You're telling me that Luca wasn't in the bottom 2 when literally everyone on Twitter was saying last night don't vote Luca. Also it's normally bottom 3. What even was the point of ANOTHER cliffhanger we all know who's going home."
