Love Island fans have called out Olivia Hawkins as they accuse her of 'copying' Molly-Mae Hague. The actress is currently appearing in the winter edition of the ITV2 dating show which is taking place in South Africa and has found herself at the centre of the drama in the plush abode.
Meanwhile, Molly-Mae appeared in the 2019 series where she entered as a bombshell contestant and set her eye on Tommy Fury. The pair have since gone from strength to strength and last year the loved-up couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, who they have named Bambi.
During the latest episode of Love Island on Wednesday night (February 23), viewers saw the start of the controversial Movie Night which caused tensions to rise among some of the existing couples in the villa.
A row quickly erupted between Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad after the boys were given the chance to select a movie and opted for Catch Me If You Tan, which showed details of Tanya and bombshell Martin Akinola's relationship from Casa Amor after she brought him back to the main villa.
"So it was just a peck, yeah, and he went to kiss you? So we’re lying now?" asked Shaq from across the garden. To which Tanya, who was sat at a table with the female islanders, replied: “If you’re looking for something to be angry about, this isn’t it."
Meanwhile, after they chose The Fast And The Curious, a clip played showing Casey O’Gorman encouraging farmer and TikTok star Will Young to "explore other girls" despite being coupled up with long-term love interest Jessie Wynter, a 26-year-old personal trainer and influencer.
The movie also saw 26-year-old recruitment consultant Casey kissing a female bombshell and asking another to sleep in his bed with him. As the male islanders began to laugh at the drama unfolding, a frustrated Jessie shouted: "It’s not f****** funny."
But before the drama started to brew as the islanders sat in the garden in front of the big screen, fans were left convinced that Olivia is trying to be this year's Molly-Mae after listening to her during an awkward chat with former partner Kai Fagan.
As the pair spoke at the famous fire pit, viewers couldn't help but notice that Olivia has repeatedly used the word "categorically" as she attempted to explain her feelings to Kai, who is now coupled up with Casa Amor bombshell Sanam Harrinanan.
And fans were quick to point out that Molly-Mae used to do the same thing. @livelovepharb tweeted: "Olivia pulling a molly-mae categorically #loveisland." @K4Y4TE wrote: "'categorically' YOU WILL NEVER BE MOLLY-MAE #loveisland."
@gasliightx posted: "Olivia. leave molly maes 'categorically' to molly mae cos it doesn't hit the same coming from you. #loveisland." @mariaasiff added: "Olivia tryna have her molly mae moment by saying “CATEGORICALLY”#LoveIsland."
