ITV Love Island fans 'already fuming' as they work out who leaves before final after Tanya's telling comment

Love Island fans have said they are 'already fuming' as they say they've figured out which couple will leave following the latest cliffhanger. Thursday night's (March 9) trip to the South African villa saw viewers watch the remaining couples go on their final dates with days to go until the ITV2 dating show's grand finale.

"Islanders, the time has come for each of you to go on your final date! #ADateToRemember," a text to the islanders, read by Samie Elishi, said which left Shaq Muhammad to say: "You just know the final dates are going to be amazing."

Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins were the first couple to be whisked out of the villa and are treated to a magical floating breakfast and a performance from a South African choir. Samie and Tom Clare were then up next and were seen at a private mountainside restaurant, after being driven to the picturesque location in a classic red Ferrari by Tom.

Then as the night started to draw in, Shaq and Tanya Manhenga were invited to a date underneath the stars, where they were greeted by a string quartet within a rose and candle lit location. And while airport security worker Shaq, 24, and biomedical science student Tanya, 23, have had their ups and downs in the villa, they appear to be more loved-up than ever as the winter series comes to a close.

So much so, Shaq said to Tanya during their date: '"The way I feel about you, I think it's only right that I want to make you my girlfriend." To which a squealing Tanya replied: "Ah! What? Stop! Are you sure?" Shaq then said: "Never been more sure," before Tanya again asked him: 'Are you sure babe?'

Officially asking her, Shaq then asked: "Will you be my girlfriend?" To which an ecstatic Tanya replied: "Um, yes!" before the pair quickly jumped to their feet and shared an embrace.

But Love Island fans were left waiting to find out how Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan get on ar their epic date as it'll be shown in Friday night's episode (March 10). However, there's also been a twist as in a Love Island first, the couples have had to vote for their least compatible couple while on their romantic dates, putting one couple at risk of being dumped before Monday's final.

And despite not seeing them enjoy their date yet, fans think Manchester teacher Kai and social worker Sanam could be at risk of being dumped just before the final after telling comments from Tanya. During a conversation with Lana after being in the bottom couples during a previous dumping, Tanya said: "It’s not nice to be in the bottom. I feel like I am shocked every time." To which Lana replied: "It’s never going to be easy, especially because you are day ones as well. Will and Jessie were a shock to me as well."

Tanya went on: "I just don’t get it anymore. You can’t take it to heart, but it’s crazy to think that me and Shaq and Will and Jessie are in the bottom and Kai and Sanam are not. I am not saying they are less than us but you would think…" Lana then asked her: "Because they are a newer couple?” to which she replied: "Yeah."

And Love Island fans aren't happy. @tweeetertots tweeted: "Tanya’s gonna vote Kai and Sanam and I’m already fuming #loveIsland." @ericajlx wrote: "Tanya knows Kai and Sanam are genuine!! They the most compatible in there, shes eliminating competition #loveIsland." @Random68251284 said: "Tanya is def going to try and vote out kai and sanam NO #loveisland."
