ITV Love Island 2022's Tasha Ghouri shares 'wild' secret to recoupling as fans spot islander's 'return'

Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has shared the secret to the show's famous recoupling scenes following the latest drama on-screen. The model and dancer, who appeared in the 2022 edition of the show last summer, is clearly following along with the action in South Africa where the second-ever winter series is being filmed.

Thursday night's episode of the hit ITV2 dating show saw new bombshells, Ellie Spence and Spencer Wilks kick off the latest recoupling. Ellie, a 25-year-old business development executive at a law firm, and Spencer, a 24-year-old e-commerce owner, made a shock entrance to the villa during Wednesday’s episode after a dramatic dumping.

The two islanders were given the first pick in the recoupling, with Ellie first to choose. As she stepped forward, she said: "I’ve decided to couple up with this boy because from what I’ve seen so far he seems really funny, he’s handsome, I don’t think he’s met his match yet and I’m really looking forward to getting to know him better," before opting to couple up with Ron Hall, who was in a couple with Lana Jenkins.

Spencer then followed suit and said: "I’d like to couple up with this girl because in her time in the villa, she’s had her ups and downs. She seems genuine and straight up. I’d love to get to know her on a deeper level," before revealing it was Olivia Hawkins he wanted to be paired with after she was left single following Haris Namani's exit.

The bombshells’ choices quickly built up the tension with their fellow islanders, with one saying of Ellie: "She seems ballsy." Meanwhile, as she got to know the boys, she didn't hold back in saying: "I just think everyone is so desperate to be married off, they're shook."

And Love Island fans think a previous islander has 'returned' to the villa as they compared bombshell Zara Lackenby-Brown to last year's winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu due to her own tensions in the villa with Olivia over her villa partner Tom Clare. The pair, who knew each other before entering the show, went head-to-head earlier this week over both their interest in the semi-professional footballer.

@Anonymous_Tea22 tweeted: "Zara is this season’s Ekin-Su. She’s giving content, the women hate her & the men are obsessed w/her #LoveIsland." @HeyitisJay echoed: "Ngl Zara is the Ekin-Su of this season #loveisland." But many didn't agree. @sl_butterworth said: "Why am I seeing tweets that Zara is like Ekin Su??? I really don’t see it. Ekin Su didn’t have mean girl energy #loveisland." @gemma_threlfall added: "I like zara but people trying to make out she's the new ekin su is madness #loveisland."

Meanwhile, Tasha prompted a response from both Ekin-Su and fellow Love Island 2022 finalist Indiyah Polack when she shared an unknown filming secret. She tweeted following the show's latest scenes: "Watching this knowing they took around 3-4 hours to film this fire pit part."

Ekin, who is currently competing in ITV's Dancing on Ice, replied: "Haha I was thinking the same!" to which Tasha said: "Our feet by the end of the night = gone." Indiyah then posted: "Mate," alongside a skull emoji as Tasha replied: "It’s when we all laughed when one person made a sound during the shots."

And it also got viewers talking. @jasebyjason asked: "Okay so I’ve never understood this, why does it take so long in real life?" @vee_ax replied: "3-4 HOURS??!!! I would’ve been sleeping." @jodietweets_ wrote: "3-4 hours is incredibly long. HOW??? Why??" @icequeenx_o_x added: "Nah that is wild what could possibly take that long like."
