Not everyone was thrilled with Lorraine Kelly's first show of the week.
The Scottish TV presenter was back on her self-titled ITV show after a week away.
Lorraine, 62, was replaced last week by Christine Lampard as she headed off on her usual half-term break.
She was back on Monday (February 21) but the show wasn't as it would normally be.
Instead, it was a massive tribute to Phillip Schofield.
It had been teased on ITV all weekend that Lorraine would be surprising a 'broadcasting legend' as they mark a major milestone.
Following the end of Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley went through to Lorraine who wasn't in her usual studio.
She was in fact behind-the-scenes at ITV's studios, at the Television Centre - specifically outside a This Morning dressing room - while clutching a big red big with '40' emblazoned across it and Phillip's name.
Lorraine then made her way into the dressing room to see a shocked Phil, 59, who is marking 40 years as a broadcaster today.
He made his TV debut as the initial presenter of the youth music programme Shazam! in 1982 after moving with his family to New Zealand as a teen.
Phillip sat with Lorraine on her hour-long ITV show as he reminisced over his career alongside his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby and other special guests.
His wife Stephanie Lowe and their daughter, Molly, also made a guest appearance on the programme via video link.
But not all Lorraine viewers were thrilled with the special episode.
@jancaldy said: "Lorraine this morning just appalling love fest and I guess it will continue for the rest of the morning - yawn."
"The whole episode is dedicated to Phillip Schofield? Wow, #Lorraine," @ChrisBeityUk tweeted.
@SpinninAlb fumed: "Schofield on tv already?!.. Ok, time to turn over, even the kid's tv before #JeremyVine is more entertaining than the Smugfest on #Lorraine."
"I didn’t think the #lorraine daily programme could get any more nauseating than it already was, I was wrong," @David_Irons65 complained.
@BeddoesJill added: "40 years in any job is worthy of celebration but what an over indulgent "tribute" on #Lorraine."
Others, however, were happy to congratulate Phil on his 40 years in showbiz.
@ursulaamanda said: "I have actually enjoyed this hour with @Schofe.. It’s nice itv and #lorraine have celebrated his 40 years .. alot won’t agree but I’ve enjoyed it lol Congratulations Phil."
"#lorraine happy 40th! Celebrated my 40th last Wednesday, but remember growing up with Phil, enjoy the moment," @timmyhoop1982 tweeted.
@Sandie17679349 wrote: "#Lorraine #PhilipScofield .. Congratulations Philip on your 40 years on TV..Loved the show. Wishing you many many more happy healthy year's on TV Etc..Well done Lorraine."
