Lorraine doctor Amir Khan is an NHS doctor turned TV GP who gives daytime TV viewers health advice.
The Doctor often appears on ITV’s hit shows Lorraine, This Morning and Good Morning Britain.
He made his TV debuts after publishing his bestselling memoir, The Doctor Will See You Now, and quickly became a regular presence on TV.

Dr Amir then went on to be one of a number of doctors who appeared on GP’s Behind Closed Doors on Channel 5.
The TV doctor has a huge following on social media with 123k followers on Instagram and a shiny blue tick right next to his name.
He often shares snaps of him at work in the GP, clips of his TV appearances and even posts of his rarely seen family.

Who is Dr Amir Khan?
Dr Amir Khan is in the public eye due to his multiple TV appearances however he has managed to keep his personal life private.
Information on who and where his parents and siblings are is currently a mystery.
It is not confirmed where exactly Dr Amir Khan lives however it is seems to be Leeds or Bradford as his location changes between the two while appearing on ITV's day time shows.
However, he continues to be a full time NHS GP working in inner city Bradford.
In addition to working for the NHS he is a lecturer at the University of Leeds School of Medicine and the University of Bradford.
Following graduation, Dr Amir went on to become a junior doctor at hospitals across Merseyside, before qualifying as a GP in 2009.
In 2018, he was named GP Trainer of the Year by the Royal College of General Practitioners for his efforts in coaching the next generation of GPs.
He’s also passionate about nature, and an Ambassador for the National Wildlife Trust and the Butterfly Conservation Society.
When he’s not helping to save lives, he’s also a keen gardener, runner, fitness enthusiast, traveller and baker.
Is Dr Amir married?
Like many doctors, Dr Amir appears to be married to his job and is reportedly single, with no children.
He previously revealed that he is proud to be single and that he has been focusing more on his career. He also stated that he doesn’t need a wife or children to be happy.
However is a very hands-on uncle to his nieces and nephews.
The star who rarely talks about his family recently shared an adorable clip to his Instagram account enjoying a singalong with his nephew.
He captioned the post: “Teaching my nephew about 90s RnB.. the good old days of music!”
In the clip the pair were jamming out to TLC’s song Waterfalls.

Dr Amir Khan comes from a large family of doctors and is the only boy out of his six sisters.
One of his sisters Dr. Farzann previously made headlines for creating one-of-a-kind pillows to help Covid patients.
In addition she is also an A&E consultant who worked on the front lines during the pandemic.
