Loose Women viewers were left aghast by a segment involving star Coleen Nolan, with many describing the situation as "cringe".
The panellist brought her new boyfriend Michael on the show for an interview after meeting him seven months prior on Tinder.
Nolan recounted how the two met after "weeks" of communicating over the phone, and revealed that her kids were wary of her meeting up with a man from the dating app.

However, the date was a success and the pair are now in a committed relationship — and they even shared a kiss on the show.
Some viewers were left bewildered by the segment, and took to Twitter to question why the man was being interviewed in the first place.
One wrote: "Oh gawd….Colleen’s new boyfriend being wheeled out on #LooseWomen how cringe! Don’t they have any ‘proper’ guests on the show anymore?"

A second commented: "This may sound mean but it’s Twitter so allow me, but why do they think we’d want to meet Coleen's new fella? We’re not friends like that".
A third agreed: "I really don’t get this. They’re her ‘friends’ and have already met him. We’re not any of their friends, why do they think we need to ‘meet’ him?"
"Tomorrow we meet the camera man's auntie," another joked.
Other viewers simply found the segment awkward.
One tweeted: "Is there a stronger word than cringe? If so it’s that, cringe isn’t enough to describe it".
A second posted: "I’m happy for them, but at the same time this is cringe".
