ITV Loose Women's Ruth Langsford hits back at Eamonn Holmes after row

Ruth Langsford hit back at Eamonn Holmes after he confessed he was in her "bad books"

The broadcasting couple have been married since 2010. Eamonn gave an insight into their relationship over the weekend when he revealed he accidentally started a row.

He tweeted: "Little could I have imagined that a simple question asked out loud like " Where do we keep the Eggcups?" would have got the day off to such a fractious start. Sorry I asked"

Ruth Langsford addressed the spat on today's edition of Loose Women. The 62-year-old broadcaster anchored Monday's episode of the popular ITV programme and was joined by Brenda Edwards, Judi Love and Jane Moore and said she had "a bone to pick" with her husband.

She added: "I literally went 'why do you never know where anything is in this house ever? People say well he's not in the kitchen much. I swear I could come to your house, empty your dishwasher and work it out.

"Basically he was saying could you please make me two eggs, toast and put it all on a plate and bring it to me. Well, no I can't because I'm busy."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
