Kaye Adams was put in a bit of an awkward situation just hours after being booted off Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night.
The Loose Women host, from Grangemouth, and her pro-partner Kai Widdrington were up against Matt Goss, 54, in the dance-off last night performing the Charleston.
It followed the first public vote of the series meaning the two received the fewest votes. However, it was a three to one decision from the judges that ended the Strictly journey of Kaye, 59.
Probably a night the Scots star wanted to forget, but it wasn't long before the TV and radio presenter was reminded about the heartbreak when she got back to her hotel and ordered some food.
Kaye told her fans on Twitter: "Just ordered room service in my hotel. The nice lady who brought it asked me ‘any idea who went out of @bbcstrictly tonight.?’ I said ‘me’ awkward silence.
Channel 5 newsreader Dan Walker was one of the first to react, saying: "Major League awkwardness. We enjoyed watching you Kaye. I hope you made some good friends and have some lovely memories."
River City actor Grant Scott replied: "Och Kaye. Gutted for ya! X"
"This is too sad!", tweeted someone else adding two crying face emoji's.
Speaking about the judges' decision, Kaye said: "It was the right result and I did make mistakes, and when it comes to that high-pressured situation that’s what happens.
“So I am delighted for Matt and Nadiya, the only person I am just sorry for is this wonderful man [Kai Widdrington], who has just been so brilliant…
“It was a hell of a lot of fun, I said my ambition was to learn to love to dance, and actually I have seen a whole new side to myself, it’s opened a little door. It’s been a wonderful experience and to spend time with such talented people who love the show so much has been a joy.”
