Frankie Bridge surprised her Loose Women co-stars during a discussion over whether the famous faces were 'precious' about their home. The former Saturdays singer was on the panel of the ITV lunchtime show on Thursday (July 14) alongside Denise Welch, Charlene White and Jane Moore.
They were chatting about tidying up and discussed how they all clean up after guests when Jane mentioned that her children have moved back home and one day she found a "bra on the kitchen island".
But Frankie appeared surprised at Jane's dismay at her findings, asking: "What's wrong?" The other panellists laughed before the 33-year-old admitted: "I do!"
Charlene couldn't hide her shock as she asked: "Do you!?" before adding with an air of confusion: "You just leave your underwear in the kitchen?" Frankie acted as though it was the norm, replying: "The first thing you do when you get home, you want to be comfortable. The first thing I do is whip my bra off, it's normally in the kitchen."
Still not convinced by her answer, Charlene said to her: "You do know you have a bedroom though, right?" But Frankie argued her point by saying when you get home you just want to 'relax' and you're in your 'own space' so you just 'whip it off and put it on the side'.
During her answer, Jane wondered what she would do when her son Parker's friends come round to her house. Frankie quickly responded: "I might tidy it up, or I might put it in the rubbish drawer. " She then revealed that even her mother-in-law has got used to her bra-leaving antics. "Wendy, Wayne's mum, always used to say she would know when I was home because my bra would be on the side in the kitchen," she laughed.
The panellists laughed at Frankie's anecdote but it's not the first time the TV star has been honest about what she gets up to at home. Frankie previously revealed that she and her husband Wayne walk around naked in the house in front of their children.
Frankie, who has two sons with former Manchester City footballer Wayne, says she doesn't see any issue with being open about the body. The 33-year-old told the ITV chat show Loose Women back in April that she and Wayne and their sons Parker, eight and Carter, six, are 'quite a naked family'.
She told her co-stars that she wouldn't cover up unless her children expressed an issue. The I'm a Celebrity star, who was a finalist in the Welsh castle last year, told fellow panellists Kaye Adams, Katie Piper and Jane Moore that she would judge it on how her children react.
During the discussion 'when should you stop nudity in front of your kids?' she admitted that her eldest son Parker does occasionally look 'uncomfortable', to which she then covers up. "We're quite a naked family I would say and I grew up in quite a naked family," she said. "I don't see what the issue is. I wouldn't think, 'oh now is the time to cover up.'"
"I think if they started to look uncomfortable or if they started saying 'oh, mummy' then I would go from there," she explained. "Mine will come up to me if I'm naked. Parker sometimes, I can see, might feel a bit uncomfortable, so I would cover up."
And she explained: "So I just go from their cues. But I remember growing up and seeing my parents run to and from the bathroom and I didn't think twice about it". The doting mum added: "Hopefully I would make them feel comfortable in that way." Asked about what might happen when they become teenagers Frankie said that again she would take their cues.
