Frankie Bridge tried to hide on Loose Women when Kaye Adams revealed her 'secret crush' on Richard Madeley. Frankie and Kaye were back on the panel of the ITV lunchtime show on Friday (November 25) alongside Linda Robson and Nadia Sawalha.
The four-piece were discussing the latest I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here action and making their winner prediction ahead of Sunday's final. But Kaye appeared to want to out former campmate Frankie by revealing her affection for Good Morning Britain star Richard.
They both appeared on the 2020 series of the ITV reality show, which was filmed in a castle in north Wales due to the travel restrictions imposed during the Coronavirus pandemic. However, while Frankie made it to the final, Richard made an early exit.
There was a shock when the former This Morning presenter had to leave the show after he "broke the Covid 'bubble'" after he was taken to hospital as a precaution when he fell ill.
But he must have made an impression on Frankie. Kaye said on Loose Women: "I hope I'm not revealing anything but didn't you have a secret crush on Richard Madeley?" Frankie looked surprised - and unimpressed - at the camera.
After a pause, she said: "I can't believe you've just said that on air." As the audience laughed, she clarified: "I don't want to see him naked.." to which Kaye interjected: "Let's get that out the way.."
Frankie then continued: "I just like the way he tells a story and I'd quite like a hug from him." As the panel and studio audience let out a chorus of 'awws', Frankie added: "You've made it so weird now," before hiding behind her notes and saying: "I'm never talking to you again."
Frankie recently revealed that she turned down Loose Women the year before she made her debut on the panel in January 2021. "I was first approached by Loose Women a year before I started, but didn’t feel I had anything to offer. I wasn’t comfortable voicing opinions, I’d never had to do it before,” she told the Mirror.
"But I’ve learnt to say when I don’t understand something because there will be people watching in the same position. I can be honest about what I think and feel without being embarrassed and that comes with confidence. I’m not confident all the time, but I know now that putting myself in uncomfortable situations generally turns out fine."
