Charlene White has been flooded with compliments as she debuted a new look. The Loose Women star took to Instagram to show off her changed locks that she decided to get "on a whim".
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (April 4), the ITV News anchor shared a string of images and a video of herself walking down some sunny streets in London with her recently transformed do. Charlene, who also looked gorgeous whole rocking a bright orange suit, said: "Sun’s out… so on a whim, I decided to go even blonder."
She then added: "Cos, why not?! Swipe for close-ups of the colour." Charlene asked: "Yay or nay folks??" And it appeared to be a massive 'yay' as the comments section became filled with compliments for the broadcaster.
Coronation Street actress and Charlene's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here co-star replied: "Gorgeous," alongside a love heart emoji. Loose Women co-star Brenda Edwards said: "Swish that hair baby girl." Judi Love shared a string of love heart emojis and wrote: "Gorgeous." Nadia Sawalha also shared: "Wow!! Looks amazing!"
@enacherry commented: "Yes!!!!!! I love this! You look." @healthyafrohair replied: "Loooove that colour…really suits you." @msfifi_nutella shared: "What a wow!!!" @melanierockcliffe typed: "Definitely yay! Really suits you!" @kathyallison added: "All the way YAY - absolutely stunning!"
Taking to social media last week, Charlene penned a poignant tribute to her Loose Women colleague, who has left show after 15 years. She took to Instagram to share a message for Loose Women's deputy editor Tom Sage, who departed the show after more than a decade for a new life in Australia.
Taking to Instagram she wrote: "Last week we bid farewell to our @loosewomen Deputy Editor @tomsage1984 … and today he flies off to Australia to join the production team at @neighbours! It was quite the learning curve when I first joined the Loose team 3 years ago. It was unlike any show I’d ever done, and I was nervous as anything.
"But the Loose team are something special, and Tom was there for me from the start - helping to calm nerves, giving me guidance, and just generally being a wonderful friend and boss-man."
And she also put herself forward for a role on the Australian soap as she eyed up a return Down Under after her I'm A Celeb stint last year. Down Under to appear on the soap reboot.
"I’m lucky he was there to hold my hand through the amazing world that is daytime telly," she added. "I can’t tell you how much we’re going to miss him. Neighbours are so lucky to have him."In the meantime, I’m gonna keep WhatsApp’ing him storylines that feature a cute Black British newsreader character who’s slightly frazzled by the work/parenting life. Because I’m *totally* up for flying to Oz and ingratiating myself with Ramsay Street."
