Adil Ray welcomed three new pairs of contestants to ITV's quiz show Lingo.
The show which tests players linguistical wit welcomed mother and son Sharon and Sean, in laws Linda and Peter and siblings Amit and Alon. All players hoped to go home with a cash prize.
However, one pair of players were unlucky and lost out on a huge couple of hundred pounds as Amit just couldn't get her words out on a puzzleword round. This round was worth up to £400.

The clue given was 'This answer requires an orderly approach'. Amit and Alon were extra quick to buzz in and did so after just a few letters had been revealed.
But Amit stuttered her words as she tried to say 'methodical'. She gave it four or five goes before the buzzer went letting her know that her time was up.
Competitors Sharon and Sean were quick on their button and buzzed in to steal the word. Sean pronounced the word with ease, smugly adding £100 to their prize pot.
Amit's brother Alon consoled her as she mouthed "sorry" at him. Host Adil also reassured her as he said: "Don't worry Amit. It's easily done."
She explained what happened as she said: "My mouth just wasn't working." Adil replied: "You know you know the word but sometimes you see it, and it just can do that."
However, despite the blunder, at that point in the game Amit and Alon were still in the lead with a cash pot of £1,300. Sharon and Sean weren't too far behind with £1,240.
Lingo returns weekdays at 3pm on ITV and ITV Hub
