ITV are said to be keen to hold on to Maya Jama and KSI after both impressed following their Saturday night primetime debuts.

Jama is said to have gone “down a storm with viewers” after taking over from Rita Ora on The Masked Singer, while KSI is viewed as “a breath of Fresh air” on BGT.

Love Island host Jama, 30, will return as a panelist on The Masked Singer for its seventh series, while, Britain’s Got Talent producers are reportedly set on getting musician and YouTuver KSI, 31, back as a judge for the 2026 series. A TV insider told The Sun: “Maya went down a storm with viewers on the last series of The Masked Singer, even though she had big shoes to fill taking over from Rita Ora. KSI was also a breath of fresh air on BGT on Saturday. He’ll help attract a much younger audience.”

They continued: “With 55 million followers across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify, KSI has significant influence, especially among younger viewers who increasingly watch TV clips online.”

A BGT spokesperson however has denied there has been any movement on that front, saying: “There have been no discussions regarding future series with any judge.”

KSI’s former collaborator Craig David previously predicted to The Standard that he would be a winner on the format.

The Born To Do It hit-maker said: “He’ll land it because he’ll bring in a whole world that may be very new to Britain’s Got Talent. He speaks his truth and that’s why I feel he’ll be fantastic at it.”
